- How it works
- After identity verification, the user links a Solana wallet, delegates a spending allowance and issues a virtual Mastercard through the CLI. MoonAgents also provides separate x402 tools.
- At checkout
- Card details can be revealed for entry on a merchant's page. The reviewed guide does not describe a checkout flow that hides them from the agent.
- Security
- Funds stay in the self-custodial wallet until a payment; the onchain allowance can be limited and revoked. MoonPay says it does not store the full card number and CVV on its servers.
